This gorgeous Organic Shea Butter is hand-whipped to intensely moisturise dry skin. Soothing and extremely therapeutic, Shea butter helps renew cracked, aged and damaged skin and can help heal bruising and soreness. Shea butter penetrates the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. It works deeps down to moisturise the skin. This Organic Shea butter is raw and unrefined, meaning it has the maximum content of vitamins A, E, F, minerals, proteins and a fatty acid profile. Our Shea butter comes from a Fairtrade project in Ghana, where the women collect the nuts by hand from the karite tree. The Shea nut trees which produce the butter grow in the wild and have not been sprayed with chemicals. Shea butter has a high content of unsaponifiables and cinnamic esters, which have antimicrobial and moisturising properties and provide protection from the UV rays of the sun. Our raw shea butter has been certified organic by the Soil Association and certified Fair trade by the Fairtrade labelling organization (FLO).
