Made with Nero D’Avola and Frappato grapes.
The Independent 2015: “From Libiamo, a new online concern offering mixed cases of lesser-known Italian wines, this is a sumptuous bottle from Sicily. An organic blend of Frappato and Nero d’Avola, it has aromatic, vibrant and intense dark fruits, with lovely clean acidity. Goes with lighter meats such as veal or chicken, or even a fish stew”.
Libiamo Wines believes that the best way of drinking fine wines is with friends, sharing a joyous and sociable experience. “Libiamo” is an expression meaning “We shall drink!”, used in the famous opera Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi. All wines are rare and hard-to-find, as the producing wineries are small “wine boutiques” trying to preserve indigenous grapes and the true quality of wine over the years.
Pair it with pizza, pastas with tomato-based sauces, hotchpot, and not too-seasoned cheeses; it will surprise you.
